The Free Radicals are a troupe of improvised comedy players based in Reading, UK
They return with a new season of improvised comedy science – Schrödinger’s Hat, the show that mashes together real science and improvised comedy theatre.
At the heart of the performance will be an engaging and informative talk from a genuine science communicator on a topic that the players won’t have heard before.
With no rehearsal or script, the players take the themes of the talk and produce a truly astonishing comedic journey of the imagination.
Joining the Radicals this month is Christopher Hoult:
Graphs are a data structure that are more than just the nodes and edges they contain: from mapping networks to representing arithmetic, from writing chat-bots to inferring relationships, applying graphs to a problem can quite often provide an elegant solution.
American transplant to the UK, Christopher is a Principal Software Engineer at Datto, involved in developing internal webservices at one of the world’s leading backup and disaster recovery companies, having previously worked with the Twitter firehose at DataSift and run the London and Paris websites for Time Out Magazines. The founder of local programming user group PHP Berkshire, he is also an actor and improviser in his spare time, as well as having served three years as Marketing Manager for Reading’s Progress Theatre.
